I’ve upgraded Avaktavyam to Wordpress 2.7 but I have not yet upgraded the theme. So things may be readable but somewhat flaky for a bit. One thing which I know does not yet work is comment paging.

I’ve decided to switch my blog software from dotclear to wordpress. Dotclear 1 is not good enough anymore. Spam management in particular is a real pain in the ass. Dotclear 2 has been in beta forever. Wordpress gives me what I want and has a bigger community than dotclear.

Comments have been temporarily turned off. I’ve been hit by blog spammers. Once I find an efficient solution, I’ll turn them back on.
UPDATE: I’ve turned comments and trackbacks back on. Let’s see how well that works…
